When Nicholas Clarke and his wife Pen wanted to be in a new three-bedroom home at Charter Walk in Liskeard, Cornwall, before Christmas the process between exchange and completion took just two weeks!

 

The couple changed their plans to move to Italy after staying with their daughter who was one of the first people to move into Charter Walk and realising this charming town had everything they wanted.

 

Having previously lived in an old cottage Nicholas, a carpenter by trade, said: “It was wonderful to move into a modern, energy-efficient home knowing nothing needed doing. This home is much warmer and more comfortable than our previous older property and we like the open plan kitchen diner and there’s also an elegant space from which we can run our business without it impeding in our home life.

“It is a lovely location for dog walks and for cycling and now that the development is fairly well established, there is a lovely sense of community here. Having our daughter live here, we have watched the development grow and found everybody to be friendly and proud of where they live.”
