Opening the Doors to Classy Interiors in Coventry

Opening the Doors to Classy Interiors in Coventry

Our Severn Valley region has opened the doors to two stylish show homes at its Hillwood Gardens development in Coventry.

A first look inside the properties on Banner Lane reveals a rich palette of colours in both the three-bedroom Coral house-type and the four-bedroom Mulberry.

Both make use of every inch of space to provide stylish family homes of character and flair in this convenient city location.

Sophie Schofield, sales director at Wain Homes, said: “We put a lot of thought into our show homes and love opening the doors and inviting customers inside to see just how stunning the properties are.

“Hillwood Gardens is beautifully positioned to the west of the city with local amenities and good schools nearby. It is within easy reach of Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa and the lovely villages of Warwickshire and the M6 and M42 are a short distance away.

“We are building a range of homes here from large four bedroomed detached properties to bungalows and apartments which will make it a really mixed and vibrant development.

“We hope local house buyers love the show homes as much as we do!”

The Coral show home is a detached three-bedroom property with a spacious kitchen/dining/sitting area spanning the entire back of the house with French doors opening onto the private garden.

The sophisticated slate grey kitchen units incorporate a range of built in appliances making it practical as well as beautiful and the six-seater table has burnt orange dining chairs which look stunning against the oak flooring.

The living room at the front of the house picks up the burnt orange tone in a simple stand-alone chair which contrasts with an on-trend dark green feature wall. The rest of the scheme mixes neutrals with textures and shape to create a relaxed contemporary feel.

Upstairs the principal bedroom is a grown-up sanctuary with a wall of fitted wardrobes in dove grey, crisp white bedding and more burnt orange accents in cushions and a throw.

A second double bedroom is an oasis of calming greens and blues with plush textures in the headboard and throws while the third bedroom showcases clever versatility with a day bed set against an upholstered wall and a desk creating the ideal work from home space.

The detached four-bedroom Mulberry is a house of classic proportions and charm with the central entrance framed by a columned porch and deep bay fronted windows.

The entrance leads to a wide hallway with a living room to the right, study to the left and huge open plan kitchen/living/dining area again spanning the entire back of the house.

Here the living room is dressed as a sophisticated retreat with rich creamy walls above wooden panelling in charcoal grey. Textured cream sofas and heavy drapes complete the look.

The study too takes on a sophisticated tone with clever detailing on the dark walls and sleek venetian blinds.

The hall leads straight through to the kitchen family room which has double doors out to the private garden. The kitchen here is fitted with glossy white units topped with shiny black granite and features a clever breakfast bar – the perfect place to sit with a coffee and look out into the garden.

The herringbone oak flooring and glass dining table perfectly complement the room while a useful utility room provides practical laundry and storage space.

On the first floor the principal suite is at the front of the house and again features panelling to the walls and luxurious fabrics in chic neutrals.

A second bedroom suite boasts a plush padded headboard spanning the width of the room and layers of soft neutrals and textured furniture.

Golf buffs will appreciate the third bedroom with its sporty theme and brown accents while the fourth bedroom features a dreamy cloudscape wall, cloud like headboard and gold accessories.

Wain Homes has released a range of houses and apartments for sale at Hillwood Gardens with prices start from £199,000 for a two-bedroomed Orchid apartment up to £520,000 for a four bedroomed Sycamore.

The development is open Thursday to Monday 10am-5pm and for more information please visit the Hillwood Gardens page.
