All our regions got involved helping their local communities to ensure everyone had a Happy Christmas – animals included!
In the North West colleagues joined together to collect items for The Brick Christmas Appeal donating everything from toys and games to gift sets and food. The Wigan based charity offers support and services to people facing homelessness, financial hardship or other crisis and the efforts will have helped give families some festive joy.
In the South West colleagues decided to support Exeter based St Petrock’s Homeless Charity with donations of ‘survivor essentials’. They also came together to raise funds for Refuge4Pets, an organisation that helps people and animals escape domestic abuse across Devon and Cornwall. Both organisations rely heavily on public donations and the contribution of the team will have made a huge difference.
Colleagues in Severn Valley added extra items to their own shopping lists to create a bumper donation of food stuffs, treats and household essentials for the Severn Valley Trussel Trust foodbank.
The generosity of colleagues and their continuing support for the communities in which we work is wonderful to see and we thank everyone for getting involved to help others.
